Cattle theft: 1 apprehended by Butchers Association

JOWAI: Members of the Butchers Association (Sein Ah Doh Masi, Jowai) led by its President, Lewis Pyrtuh apprehended one Shiningstar Kyndait of Iongkaluh village, East Jaintia Hills for trying to sell a cattle half of the market rate.
The Butchers Association apprehended the person on suspicion and brought him to Jowai Police Station.
During police interrogation, Kyndait revealed that he had stolen 12 cattle from Iongkaluh village and brought them to Demthring village and sold them at half of the market rate.
He also stated that one more person by the name of Tiplang Dkhar of the same village was also involved in the theft who was later apprehended near Thomas Jones college.
