SHILLONG: Police on Thursday arrested three juvenile delinquents for stealing a mobile phone from a shop in Laitumkhrah.
SP, M Kharkrang said that in connection with stealing of mobile phone from Yastech at Laitumkhrah on February 6, police on Thursday apprehended three habitual delinquents from Dhankh-eti area who hailed from Lawsohtun. Subsequently they were forwarded to the Juvenile Justice Board, Shillong and the identity of the boys was ascertained from the CCTV footage installed at the mobile shop. The mobile phone was recovered from a woman from Lawsohtun to whom the juveniles had sold it.
