In a bid to familiarize students of various career opportunities as officers in the Indian Air Force, a specially designed Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) will be stationed at 11:00 AM on February 20 at St. Anthony’s College, Shillong and at Shillong College on February 21.
Solidarity meet
TUR, Shillong based JNU alumni and concerned citizens are staging a protest and solidarity meeting on Saturday at 10 am at Fire Brigade ground in the city to call attention to an “undeclared emergency in the country whereby freedom is at stake.” TUR has urged the citizens of Meghalaya to attend the meeting and to make the voices heard in defence of democracy.
BSS procession
The Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) will observe the 121st birth anniversary of its founder, Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanan-daji Maharaj and the yearlong centenary celebration of the organization starting February 21. To commemorate the birth anniversary and yearlong centenary celebration, a multicultural “foot procession” will be organised at 8 am on Sunday morning. The procession will start from the BSS premises at Jail Road.
