SHILLONG: One person from Assam Bazar, Happy Valley has been arrested for allegedly raping and threatening a woman. According to Police the incident happened on Feb 18 midnight when one Ajit Thakur from Assam Bazar allegedly trespassed into the house of a woman at Pdeng Shnong, Madanriting and raped and threatened her with dire consequences.
