Dacoits nabbed

NONGSTOIN: The police of Riangdo police outpost last night apprehended three dacoits who were trying to commit robbery on the national Highway Road from the coal laden trucks.
Police said that the dacoits were trying to stop coal laden trucks plying through Shallang- Riangdo road but the attempts failed after the police rushed to the spot and nabbed them all.
The dacoits were identified as  Khlainbor Diengngan (28) of Riangdo, Syrpaidar Thongni (30) of Mawtynrong and   Gilbert Marbaniang (17) of Riangdo village in West Khasi Hills.
All the accused were forwarded to court and booked under section 393 of IPC.
