Umsning Bypass making steady progress

SHILLONG: There is a possibility of the Umsning Bypass project being completed ahead of the   scheduled deadline of June, 2017 as the implementing agency has been accelerating the pace of work.
Work on the 5 km long Umsning Bypass is progressing at a steady pace with 10 excavators being deployed for the construction work and over 75 workers engaged at all levels to ensure early completion of the project.
