SHILLONG: Police is on the hunt to trace out the kidnapper of a minor girl in the city.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, police said the accused MD Paseruddin alias Samir, son of Badiduddin of Jaipur Mongal village under Lakhipur police station, Cachar district, Assam, is wanted in connection with the kidnapping of a 14 year old girl identified as Poonam Lama.
According to police, as the case was registered under Sadar police station, any information about the accused and the victim can be made known to the police personnel.
