TURA: In an effort to chalk out ways and means to usher in peace in Garo Hills leaders of several NGOs and Churches, Nokmas and senior citizens recently held a meeting under the theme, ‘Tom’ tomanina Tom’bimongani’ (get together for peace) in the office of the Council of Nokmas in Tura.
During the meeting several leaders expressed their views suggesting steps and measures that need to be taken to bring about peace in the region.
GSU Interim Body president, Zikku Balgra N Marak urged  people to work together pointing out that the involvement of each and everyone was necessary in order to achieve peace.
