Legal awareness programme

Shillong:  The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority will organise a Legal Awareness Programme through the use of the Mobile Legal Services Van in East Khasi Hills District.
The programme will include announcement through fixed loud speakers for disseminating information on legal aid and legal services schemes including Lok Adalats, etc., distribution of pamphlets and broadcast of a documentary film/short films. The programme will be organised at Umphyrnai on March 18, at Mawphlang on April 1, at Laitlyngkot on April 8, at Nongrah on April 15, at Pomlakrai on April 22, at Mylliem on on April 29, at Thangsning/Laitkyrhong on May 6, at Sohryngkham on May 13, at Lawsohtun on May 20and at Umlyngka on May 27.
