SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Monday revealed that as many as 358 persons including some retired government officials were employed under the Meghalaya Basin Development Authority.
Replying to a question by Ardent Basaiawmoit (HSPDP), the chief minister told the House that there are employees appointed to function from the blocks, districts and also from Shillong.
To a question, the chief minister asserted that no fund was transferred from the State government departments to the Integrated Basin Development and Livelihood Programme (IBDLP).
