A driver along with the helper of a coal laden truck (AS01EC – 0014) sustained injuries when the vehicle fell into a gorge after it drove off the road on a turning. The truck was coming from Nongalbibra when the incident happened at Nengkhra under Samanda Block, East Garo Hills on the March 15 at 2:53 pm. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Williamnagar helped in shifting the driver, Rajeev Rabha (25/M) and the helper Sengwat N. Marak (21/M) to Williamnagar Civil Hospital.
A motorist sustained injuries when he lost control of the motorbike and it fell into a drain on the side of the road. The motorist was proceeding towards Pohkseh when he fell off his two-wheeler at Nongrim Hills, Shillong on the March 14 at 10:58 pm. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Saumlem Muinaw (25/M) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
