Driver of missing truck murdered

JOWAI: Unidentified miscreants have murdered the driver of a coal-laden truck after waylaying the vehicle. The body of the driver — Santosh Ch. Roy — was recovered from the roadside near Phamer village in Jaintia Hills, sources said on Tuesday.
The brother of the deceased lodged a complaint with the police at Phramer Traffic Cell. The vehicle is yet to be recovered.
