Apartment Ownership Bill tabled in House

SHILLONG: Urban Affairs minister Ampareen Lyngdoh introduced the   Meghalaya  Apartment Ownership Bill,  2016 in the Assembly on Wednesday.
The Bill aims to provide for the ownership of an individual apartment in a building, together with an undivided interest in commo area facilities. Basically this will indicate management, maintenance, equal responsibilities and contribution for the same for all owners of the apartment.
The Bill also zeroes down on the roles of developers and owners.
