SHILLONG: A senior citizen drowned in Umtrew River in Ri Bhoi district. The incident took place on March 12 when Jay Das (57) got drowned in the river. His dead body was retrieved from the river near M/s Meghalaya Steel Factory at Byrnihat on Tuesday.
