SHILLONG: The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, South West Khasi Hills celebrated the International Women’s Day at Rangthong village in the district on Thursday.
The programme was organized in collaboration with the Rangthong Village Women’s Welfare Organisation and Rangthong Presbytery under the theme, Economic Development-Empowerment of Women.
South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner R Lyngdoh and (Retd) Post Master General, North Eastern Region, Mildred Iawphniaw were present on the occasion.
