SHILLONG: On March 16 at around 11 pm, one Maruti car (ML-04A-5084) driven by one Yingbok Iangwai (48) fell into a gorge at Mawsawa NH-44 East Khasi Hills. As a result, the driver and several occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong /NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang. On March 25, the driver, who was admitted at NEIGRIHMS, succumbed to his injuries.
