New rule to be declared after meeting on April 4

SHILLONG: Union HRD Minister Smriti Zubin Irani in her meeting with NEHUTA, the  teachers’ body of the University at NEHU on Tuesday announced the present system of assessment of teachers for open post selection/CAS promotion under API method will be replaced by one in which the assessment will focus and emphasise on teaching inputs and contribution to curriculum development among others.
