IGNOU students who are eligible for 2016 Convocation i.e. December 2014 and June 2015 have been requested to collect their forms from IGNOU Regional Centre Shillong.
Ambulance service
PWD Minister, Sniawbhalang Dhar on Thursday launched the Ambulance service for Mookyndur village in West Jaintia Hills at a function held at the village football ground. The Ambulance service was donated by PWD Minister with an aim to help transportation of sick and injured people to hospitals.
Ram Navami celebrated
Ram Navami was celebrated on Friday at Shree Shree Jawalamai Mandir located at Raid Mawbah, Umiam. The event was organized by Jawalamai Mandir committee and witnessed over 5000 devotees from Shillong and other areas of Ri Bhoi, including Assam. A 15- member CPC delegation also took part in the event.
