Protest rally in city today

SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Seng Kynthei, Upper Shillong will organise a rally here on Saturday  in protest against the brutal killing of 19-year-old  Shailina Kharrymba on March 17 at 4 ½ Mile near Upper Shillong.  The rally will commence at 11am from the premises of State Central Library and culminate at Malki ground. East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner P S Dkhar, meanwhile, has said that permission has been granted to hold the rally.
