Dawki border in darkness for ten days

SHILLONG: The Dawki-Tamabil  border and the adjoining areas are without electricity  for the last 10 days affecting the residents.The General secretary of Meghalaya International Trader’s  Association Dolly Khonglah said on Sunday that though the matter was brought to the notice of MeECL local authorities, the problem was not rectified.
She said besides Dawki-Tamabil, the adjoining villages have also been affected by the frequent disruption of power even as she urged the authorities to rectify the problem at the earliest.
