Midday meal
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), Jowai has informed that midday meal rice for LP and UP schools and OoSC under the midday scheme for February and March, 2016 will be distributed from April 25 and will be delivered free of cost to the schools by the dealers.

The West Khasi Hills deputy commissioner has informed that all State government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions in the district will remain closed on May 2 on account of Shad Suk Mynsiem.
