Elephants trample woman to death

SHILLONG: A woman was trampled to death by wild elephants in Assam-Meghalaya border in the wee hours on Saturday. According to the border residents, one Florina K Marak (47) hailing from a village in Goalpara, in Assam-Meghalaya border was killed by the wild elephants, while her husband escaped unhurt.
