SHILLONG: Police have arrested two persons in Dangar for looting a group of traders. SDPO Sohra, Ian Swer informed that the incident took place on April 19 when one Md Salim and 4 others were on their way in a vehicle to Nongjri Market to sell electronic goods. On reaching Ladbakli Dangar, three boys came riding a Discover Bike and snatched away Rs.2000 along with woofer music systems and Bolero tyres.
Later, an FIR was filed and during investigation, tyres were recovered from a shop and two persons identified as Pyrshangbor M. Syiem and Swendro Shangdiar were arrested. The Motor bike used for the crime was also recovered.
Both have been forwarded to judicial custody and one more accused is still absconding.
