BJP organises programme in Ri Bhoi district

SHILLONG: The Mandal committee of the BJP Meghalaya unit organized a programme to mark the Pradhan Mantri Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan at Mawpun village in Ri Bhoi district on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by BJP State vice president and in charge of Ri Bhoi district, Bashailang Khongwir.Speakers including BJP coordinator Ranjit Majumdar and BJP Meghalaya president Shibun Lyngdoh spoke about the schemes launched by the NDA government.Issues related to empowerment of farmers were highlighted. Seeds were distributed among 790 villagers of the area.
