A motorist along with the pillion rider sustained serious injuries when the motorbike was involved in a collision with a Maruti 800 at Balonggre under Betasingh Block, South West Garo Hills District on April 25. The motorist Simbe M. Sangma (21) and pillion rider Subam Ch. Momin (20) were shifted to Tura Civil Hospital. Later, Subam Ch. Momin passed away at the hospital.
A passenger travelling on an auto-rickshaw sustained injury when he hit his leg on a road side barrier. The incident happened at Rapanggri under Zikzak Block, South West Garo Hills on April 26. The injured was identified as Armik Sangma (30).
A Mahindra Bolero pick-up truck (ML08D – 9064) travelling towards Teksagre from Rari drove off to the side of the road and hit a barricade when the driver lost control of the vehicle at Anogre under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills District on April 26. Toman Marak (50), Jenbath Marak (36) and Salmo Marak (40) were shifted to Rari PHC.
A motorist proceeding towards Umiam from Shillong sustained injuries when the motorbike was involved in a collision with a Maruti Alto near Tariang petrol pump in Mawlai Mawiong on April 25. The motorist Teibor Kharkongor (29) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
On April 25 at around 11.15 pm, one Maruti local taxi (ML-05E-9803) driven by Paul Marbaniang (33) dashed against one motorcycle (number not known) at Mawlai Mawkynroh,  As a result, one Banolin Thongni (18) sustained minor injuries.
