Boat rams into MTC bus

SHILLONG: In a freak accident, a mechanized boat crashed into a stationary MTC bus which was taken for washing near the river at Phulbari, West Garo Hills on Sunday morning.
An official with the Transport department said that the Shillong-Phulbari bus (ML030198) was partially damaged after the boat, coming in full speed, rammed into the bus which was parked close to the river for cleaning.
The incident took place at 5.30 am, but no one was injured as the crew was not inside the bus.
