DGP meets SF- 10 commandos

SHILLONG: Meghalaya DGP Rajiv Mehta on Monday interacted with Special Force -10 (SF-10) commandos. While addressing the commandos, the DGP highlighted the on-going Operation Hillstorm 3 in Garo Hills. It may be mentioned that more Commandos are being sent to Garo Hills for sustained counter insurgency operations for the next three to six months. Highly trained and well equipped SF-10 Commandos will be inducted into Garo Hills to supplement Operations team s always camping in Durama Hills. These SF-10 Commandos will be equipped with state of the art equipment for jungle survival under all types of environment, including the monsoon seasons, police sources said. The DGP personally reviewed the training of the commandos.
