11 Myntris appointed for Hima Mylliem

SHILLONG: The Executive Committee of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has approved the names of the Myntris who will be part of the Executive Dorbar of Hima Mylliem.
As per the letter dated April 27, which was sent to the acting Syiem of Hima Mylliem, Ricky Nelson Syiem, the Executive Dorbar (ED) has 11 members.
The ED members are Baswell Nongneng Shanpru (in charge Finance), Stephan Nongneng Daloi (in charge Elaka Ri Bhoi and others), Charles Marbaniang (in charge Forest), Jamphrang Nongkhlaw (in charge Judiciary), Hunderson Pathaw (in charge Elaka East Khasi Hills), Chester Kharkongor (in charge Market), Bidington Kharir (in charge Transport), Kedre Sing Kharpan (in charge Land Registration), Augustine Nengnong (in charge Development), Fornick Kharrubon (in charge of General Administration Department ) and Hadrensing Sohlang (in charge Land).
The eleven Myntris will be helped in their daily tasks by assistants for the overall functioning of the Hima Mylliem.
It may be mentioned that the High Court of Meghalaya, on May 6, has ordered the Joint Secretary of the KHADC executive committee to monitor the administration of the acting Syiem and Hima Mylliem and hand over his report to the KHADC and later submit the complete report to the High Court before the May 17 hearing.
The order stated that Ricky Syiem should inform the Joint Secretary of the EC of all the steps/decisions taken or sought to be taken by him for proper management of the Syiemship.
