Salahuddin trial resumes

SHILLONG: The trial of Bangladeshi politician Salahuddin Ahmed resumed in the lower court here on Tuesday after his recent return to Shillong from Gurgaon.
Salahuddin has been undergoing treatment for a month at Medanta the Medicity for multiple ailments.
Salahuddin is facing trial for his illegal entry into Meghalaya on May 21 last year which led to his arrest.
On Tuesday, the Investigation Officer P Lamare was examined and cross-examined.
