10 more cattle seized

SHILLONG:  The BSF troops deployed at Lyngkhat and Nayabazar, East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya seized ten cattle while being smuggled to Bangladesh on Tuesday night.
The BSF troops have been repeatedly foiling such attempts of smugglers to transport cattle to Bangladesh.
BSF has strengthened operations on Indo-Bangladesh border to check trans -border activities across the border.
In an another incident, the BSF troops deployed at Lalghat, South West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, apprehended one Bangladeshi national while he was infiltrating into Indian territory from Bangladesh.
The apprehended person identified as Md Abdul Zabar (20), is a resident of Lalghat village, Sunamganj district, Bangladesh.
