Demand for removal of Marbisu Sordar

SHILLONG: The Seng Samla Marbisu  has demanded the removal of acting Sordar of Marbisu, Edward Kurbah. Alfin Sunn, president SSM told reporters on Friday that Kurbah, who took charge as the next leader after the death of the Sordar did not conform to the conditions laid down by  KHADC. Sunn also alleged that KHADC had erred in its approach to give him   sanad (appointment letter).The SSM has sent a letter to the KHADC to take action against Kurbah.  “Kurbah undermined role of Dorbar in a meeting held on March 19 and maintained that what matters is his order,” he said.
