Medical camps held

JOWAI: The Wahiajer Mission Centre of the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Mihngi organised a one day medical camp at Mukhla Nongrim on Saturday.
Doctors from Khliehtyrshi PHC and Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital Jowai attended to the people during the camp during which a case of suspected leprosy was also detected. Altogether 311 villagers benefited from the medical camp  Pastors including Rev. CL Susngi, Rev. L Manner, the headman and others from the village were also present in the camp.
Meanwhile another free health checkup was conducted by the Ms HLL Life Care LTD sponsored by the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd under its corporate social responsibility at Lotus Secondary School, Deinchynrum in East Jaintia Hills.
