FIR Lodged
On May 13, T. Lhungdim, Dy. General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Shillong lodged a complaint that one unincorporated body in the name of ‘Regional Rural Bank of India’ has been operating at Burbhoi, Byrnihat (RB), with L.S Rongpha as S/S Chairman, without any license from the RBI, violating Sec. 45 S of RBI Act 1934 and the Meghalaya Protection of Interest Depositors Act.
One Ardor Singh Kharlukhi of Mawlai Nongkwar, Shillong lodged a complaint on May 13 that one Jwos Umbah borrowed Rs. 46,000/- from him. Later, he repaid only Rs. 13,000/- but failed to repay the remaining amount.
Girl
On May 13 at around 3.30 pm, Police detected one nineteen year old girl of Mawkhar, Shillong, while she was loitering at Sumer area (RB). The girl was later handed over to Lumdiengjri PS for taking necessary action.
Threat
On May 11, police from Betasing AD Camp (SWGH), apprehended one mentally unstable person viz.,  Ranakor Koch from his residence at Gandhipara village under Ampati PS (SWGH) for threatening the local residents with lethal objects. He was sent for medical treatment and the matter is under enquiry.
A woman lodged a complaint that on May 11, she received an anonymous phone call, wherein the caller identified himself as an employee of SBI and asked about her ATM details. On May 12 afternoon, when she went to withdraw money from an ATM Kiosk, she found that there was no money in her account.
Theft
One Dr. W.W Phira, Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital Nongstoin (WKH) lodged a complaint that on the night of May 10, unknown miscreants stole ten bottles of cough syrup from the hospital Drug Store.
On May 13 night, unknown miscreants stole one Maruti car (WB-20B-3370) belonging to Shri Sonaram Das which was parked at Forest Colony under Pasteur Beat House, Shillong.
One Bashaihunlang Nongkynrih lodged a complaint that on May 10 around 10.50 am, one Paiaskhem Kharumnuid stole cash Rs. 3,000/- from her house at Pynthorumkhrah, Shillong.
Fire
One Carly Shylla, Shri Shimwot Pyrtuh and Westeroy Sari jointly lodged a complaint that on the night of May 7, unknown miscreants set fire to their farm house at Sung Valley (WJH). As a result, their belongings valued around Rs. 45,650/- were damaged.
Robbed
On May 14 at around 4 am, an unidentified miscreants in a Maruti car (WB-20B-3370) robbed cash Rs. 5,400/- and a mobile phone from  Kynshai June Mawlong (24), driver of truck (NL-02D-8890) at Mawlai Mawiongrim, Shillong.
Accident
On May 13 at around 7 pm, one Maruti Alto K-10 car (ML-05M-2160) driven by Latlu Sangma fell into a gorge at Kynshi near Weiloi Mawsynram (EKH). As a result, four occupants of the car including one woman sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong.
Detained
On May 13 around 8.30 am, BSF personnel detected and seized seventeen cartons of IMFL from the possession of one Deepak Mallick at Ryngku near Khasimari River under Mawsynram PS (EKH).
