Woman electrocuted

SHILLONG: A woman died after she was electrocuted at Mawlong Mawriang.
Police said the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday when 30 year old Basanti Khyllep accidentally stepped on a fallen live high tension wire on her way to the bathroom in her aunt’s house and died on the spot.
The body has been sent to hospital for postmortem.
