JH driver killed in Assam

JOWAI: Police have issued an alert after the driver of a vehicle  (ML011-1038) allegedly hijacked by some unidentified persons from Jaintia Hills was found murdered in Karimganj district of Assam.
The body of the victim, identified as Amly Sutnga (20)  from Moolamylliang village in East Jaintia Hills, recovered from Barak river on Monday, a delayed report said on Wednesday.
His friend, Bren Dkhar is still missing along with the vehicle.   According to Moolamylliang headman, Ebor Dkhar, the duo left their village on Sunday evening to drop some passengers, who hired the vehicle, at Karimganj.Search to find out the missing youth and the vehicle is still on, police sources said.
