TURA: NPP’s Conrad K. Sangma defeated Congress’s Dikkanchi D. Shira by a colossal figure of 1,92,212 votes, the highest margin ever in the history of Garo Hills elections.
Conrad polled a total of 3,29,383 votes against Dikkanchi’s 1,37,246 votes.
As many as 16,597 voters chose to press the NOTA (None Of The Above) button.
