SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, a female under trial prisoner (UTP) escaped from the Civil Hospital, here on Thursday, a delayed report said on Saturday.
The UTP Jesika Kharkongor, who was arrested in connection with a cheating case, was undergoing treatment in the Civil Hospital, Shillong.
When contacted, police said that an enquiry has already been ordered in this connection.
