Three held from Jhalupara
On May 24, police arrested three persons namely,  Sobir Singh (25), Donald Marwein (25) and  Batskhem Syiemiong (29) while they were sniffing drugs and creating nuisance at Jhalupara, Shillong.
One knocked down
On May 24 at around 10.30 am, one vehicle (number not known) knocked down one Jeffry Mukhim at Demseiniong .  As a result, victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Vehicle collision
On May 24 at around 11 am, one local taxi (ML-05D-4371) driven by Timothy L Nonglait collided with one truck (RJ-23GB-2397) at Demseiniong,  Driver of the local taxi sustained injuries and was admitted at CH Shillong.
Two held with heroin
On May 23 at about 3.30 pm, acting on tip off, Police arrested two persons,  Gopal Saha (26) and  Justin Jackson (22) from Laitumkhrah, Shillong and  seized one Golden tobacco tin container containing 1.20 grams of yellow/orange powder suspected to be Heroin from their possession.
Theft at Rural bank
On May 23 night, unknown miscreants broke into the Meghalaya Rural Bank, Mylliem Branch (EKH) and stole two computer monitors
