Assam-M’laya joint police team rescue Ri Bhoi girl

SHILLONG: Assam and Meghalaya police have jointly rescued a girl who was kidnapped from Patharkhmah in Ri Bhoi. Tharon Diya lodged a complaint that on May 26 around 8 am, two persons Pamila Rabha (45) and Nelola Rabha (35) abducted his 14-year-old daughter from Barigaon in Patharkhmah.
On May 27 evening, acting on inputs with assistance of Assam Police, the abducted victim was rescued from the residence of the accused at Pamunigaon village under Chaygaon PS  in Assam. Both the accused have been arrested.
