SHILLONG: One woman was fatally knocked down by a truck at Jeep Stand, Paltan Bazar, Shillong.The incident happened on Monday morning around 5:15 AM when the truck (ML05 G 2168) driven by one Chandra Bahadur Konwar (32) fatally knocked down Shanti Gurung (45).In another incident, an attempt was allegedly made by a vehicle to knock down a Meghalaya police constable.
UBC/2578 G F Marbaniang lodged a complaint that on May 28 around 6.55 AM, one Maruti Alto (ML05 J 3478) attempted to knock him down while he was on duty at IGP Point, Shillong.
