SHILLONG: The State government will wait for the finalization of the National Education Policy by the Centre before finalizing the State Education Policy.
Deputy Chief Minister in charge Education, R.C. Laloo told reporters on Monday that though the State Education Policy is ready, the State government will wait for the education policy of the Centre so that some points can be incorporated in the state policy.
