SHILLONG: A nine year old girl was allegedly raped at Ranggira village in West Garo Hills.A woman lodged a complaint that on June 4 around 10.30 am, one John Ch Marak raped a nine year old girl in his house at Ranggira village.
Reportedly, the accused had raped her several times since the year 2015, forced her to consume some pills and alcohol and also threatened her with dire consequences, if she disclosed the matter to her relatives.
In another incident, One seventeen year old girl lodged a complaint that one Rakseng N Marak promised to marry and had sexual intercourse with her.
Later, the accused refused to fulfill his promise.
