Rice released in WJH

Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills district, Jowai has informed that AAY, PHH and Tide over quota of Rice for the month of April & May, 2016 under National Food Security Act (NFSA) and ISS Sugar for the month of November and December, 2015 has been released from all wholesalers and made available to all Fair Price Shops.
AAY quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 Kgs per AAY F.I card for both rural and urban areas at the rate of Rs. 3.00 per Kg. Priority House Hold (PHH) quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 4.977 kgs per head per month for both rural and urban areas at the rate of Rs.3.00 per kg.
Tide over to PHH quota of rice at the scale of 0.023 kgs per head per month as per existing APL rate for both rural and urban areas.
