Deborah to inaugurate ‘one stop crisis centre’ in city

SHILLONG: The ‘one stop crisis centre’ for rehabilitation of survivors of ‘violence against women’ will be inaugurated at Ganesh Das Hospital, OPD building by Social Welfare Minister Deborah C Marak at 1 pm on June 20.
The centre will cater to comprehensive medical care, counseling and emotional support, legal and court activities, provision of temporary shelter and medical reporting for women victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, etc., and will be operated by North East Network (NEN) in collaboration with the Social Welfare department.
