Lajong Juniors dominate Malki in U-18 Shillong Premier League

Shillong: Shillong Lajong juniors defeated Malki SC 4-2 on Thursday at the JN stadium in the U18 Shillong Premier League. Lajong juniors are now on 13 points in second position but will have to wait one more day as Nangkiew Irat are due to play their last game on Friday.
If Nangkiew wins their last match, they will also be on 13 points and will automatically advance to the finals with the head to head advantage.
Lajong juniors took the lead in the 10th minute of the match. Donbok was one on one with the keeper and netted a fine shot.
After a good run of play, Samuel Kynshi found himself one on one with the keeper and headed the ball into the net in the 26th minute to make
it 2-0 to extend the lead of Lajong Juniors.
In the 34th minute they were rewarded for their efforts when Dameki scored from a Samuel Kynshi to make it 3-0 lead going into half-time.
In the 51st minute, Tridev netted from a Samuel Kynshi cross and made it 4-0. Malki Sports Club got very lucky and Paski Nongrum manged to score their first goal of the match in the 64th minute. Malki players started combining well and found their second goal in the 70th minute when B wanniang scored via free kick. The match ended 4-2 with Lajong on the winning side.
