NONGSTOIN: A 40-year-old woman from New Mawlangsu, West Khasi Hills was murdered by unknown miscreants on Wednesday.
The body of the victim identified as one Bliantina Lyngkhoi was recovered by the villagers of Mawlangsu at Kharai Marskuin on Wednesday evening.
The villagers later informed the Nongstoin police about the incident and the body was taken for post mortem on Thursday.
