Murder victim’s body recovered
On June 19 noon, body of Royalfil A Sangma (52) was recovered with multiple injuries from Dimradubi, North Garo Hills. It is suspected that the deceased was murdered by unknown miscreants.
NGT ban violation
On June 17 at around 5.30 pm, Police detected one truck (AS-01BC-1525), while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Umsning, Ri Bhoi and arrested one Medring Mynsong. However, the driver fled away leaving behind the vehicle.
Intimidation
Terakhi K Marak, ACF, i/c Simsanggre Range lodged a complaint that on June 17 at around 11 pm, while officials of Forest department were detaining one Jongnang Sangma and seizing one truck (AS-25-4399) at Samanda (EGH), one vehicle (ML-05F-0079) along with 4/5 occupants attempted to intimidate the officials and later fled away.
