Thief from city held for crime in SWKH

SHILLONG: One person identified as Boshon Nongbri from Nongmynsong was arrested by the police in connection with theft of Rs 8 lakh from a house in South West Khasi Hills.
South West Khasi Hills SP Herbert Lyngdoh said that with the help of Shillong police they were able to arrest Borshon and Rs 64000 and a motor cycle were recovered from his possession.  The incident happened on the night of June 13, when miscreants broke into the residence of Saikia Shyrkoh at Kulang village and stole Rs 8 lakh.
