MCCL not to be privatised : CM tells Sohra MLA

SHILLONG: The Sohra legislator Titosstar Chyne, who met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Tuesday said that the latter has made it clear that there was no question of privatizing the MCCL.
“The Chief Minister clarified that when there was a query from the media persons regarding the privatization of MCCL his reply was that the State Government had multiple options, but he did not mean privatization,” Chyne said.
The legislator said that people were confused after NPP had opposed privatization of MCCL prompting him to meet the Chief Minister.
