Awareness programme
An awareness programme under the Chief Minister’s Clean And Green Movement was organized on Tuesday by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills at Jashiar, Mawkyrwat. The programme was organized with an aim to sensitise people about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation.
Public meeting
The Meghalaya and Greater Shillong Progressive Hawkers and Street Vendors Association will organise a public meeting in collaboration with TUR to discuss the various problems which confront hawkers in the state at the Additional Secretariat Parking Lot at 11 am on June 23.
